Alec Bantier has a great point here. Art has evolve in a way nobody expected. my clasmate stephen mentioned the midset we have regarding art and making a living is almost imposible, with the expansion and growth of technology this mindset has change. The millennials generation is changing the meaning of the word "job" by making it fun and flexible and this can only be achieve by making it creative.
In a future, almost everything will have to deal with technology which goes by the hand of art.
a great example are new companies like facebook who has 4,619 employees as of december of 2012, and other social networks which most of their job is nothing but to create new ideas.
I strongly agree with Bainter's point of view regarding adding and supporting arts studies in schools. When I was in high school i was part of the soccer team and the only way i could play was if i had good grades so that was my motivation to do well in all of my other classes plus it help me to stayed out of trouble by keeping a busy mind and not thinking about skipping class, getting in a gang or t do drugs like many other students.

Should we make lemonade?
Many Americans are concerned about legalizing illegal
immigrants because they are afraid of them taking over all jobs, criminals
being on the streets, and people taking advantage of affirmative action
programs, According to Procon.com we can see there are more positives than negatives for passing an amnezty. First, most of the illegal immigrants come to the U.S. looking for
better opportunities and to work. Second, there are many business owners that
could not be successful in their countries because of mafia and insecurity for
the same reason they come to this country to invest their money and create
jobs. Americans are also worried about legalizing criminals and have them on
the streets that will not be a problem because one of the many requisites is a
background check.
In my opinion the US should legalize illegal immigrants.
From my point of view the U.S. is a business and it only has two options, to
win or lose money. If we pass an amnesty,
the country will benefit economically. Last year the Obama’s Administration passed
a law name deferred action; From August 2012 to
today the U.S. has help 199,460 illegal immigrants. For every application, the
government is charging around 500 dollars, if we multiply those two numbers we
get 99,730,000 million dollars that will go straight to the U.S. economy, if we
use the same equation for the rest 10,800,540 of illegal immigrants we get 5,500,000,000
dollars only to become legal residents, now to become U.S. citizens the fee is 680
dollars for the application. The government will be receiving 12,980,000,000 to
legalize illegal immigrants, on the other hand, the Government will spent more
money by deporting them according to Business Insider.
In conclusion, Illegal immigration is not going to stop any time soon that is the reality. There is a saying that I personally like “If life gives you lemons, make lemonade” if you don’t do anything with those lemons eventually, you are going to find yourself with 11 million wormy lemons; might as well take advantage and create a lemonade company.

Illegal Immigrants are Human Beings
Julia Preston and Robert Geveloff give us two different examples; first we have Mr. Valencia’s case. An illegal immigrant who was driving to pick up her child from school. Who got in a car accident who led to deportation for not having a driver’s license.
In my opinion Ms. Valencia like millions of illegal immigrant do their best and follow all the rules possible because their only goal is to have and give a better life to their families, their only thing they care is to live in a secure place. Illegal immigrants do not risk their lives by walking for days in the desert or crossing the Grand River just to make the us citizens lives miserable, believe me that is not the reason.
“In Georgia, voters have been worried about unlicensed illegal immigrants whose driving skills are untested and who often lack insurance”. In my opinion, it’s illogical to think that illegal immigrants are a danger to the public. It is difficult for me to think an illegal immigrant knowledgeable of his situation will get in a car and drive like crazy knowing that he will get deported if he gets pulled over.
D. A. King, president of the Dustin Inman Society said “giving an illegal immigrant a driver’s license is giving them the keys to the kingdom.” Mr. King is in part correct, is giving them their spirit back, is giving them an opportunity to prove the US they are not danger, is giving them a record this will help to separate the criminals from the good citizens.
Mr. Campos’s case things are different; the accident unfortunately was more severe than just a car crash. A person was involved; Mr. Campos only option was to escape from the scene not because he wanted Mr. Sosebee to die but because he knew where he was going to end, back in Mexico. If Campos had the security of not getting deported or getting jail time for just not having a driver’s license, we could be talking about a heroic story: “An illegal immigrant who saved an old man’s life”. How? By taking Mr. Sosebee to the hospital instead of running away.
I would like to conclude this opinion with the following. Illegal Immigrants are not animals, Illegal immigrants are not things; we are talking about human beings. Humans who happened to be born in a country where you have no control over your life, we are talking about humans whos only purpose is to provide a better living for their families. We live in a civilize country, let’s forget about frontiers and nationalities for a moment and focus on humanity.

Amnesty for Illegal Immigrant vs Black Unemployment
In the “Illegal immigration and Black unemployment “article, Peter Kirsanow and Clarissa Mulder brought up the attention on how “Politicians rush to grant effective amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants…and the effect illegal immigration has on the employment and wage levels of low-skilled Americans, particularly blacks.”
This two authors state a point on how an amnesty will affect instead of benefiting the united states. They feared that by legalizing illegal immigrants the unemployment for black men will increase and opportunities to get a job will decrease. The editors of “The Competition for Low-Wage Jobs” article explain the difference between illegal immigrants and American citizens competing for low skilled jobs. It shows the great effort illegal immigrants make just to come here to the United States in order to have a better life. To these illegal immigrants low skilled jobs are most of the times the only option for them, not because they are ignorant but because of their language barriers and documentation. In contrast, most American citizens with low-skilled jobs are folks with very low education performance usually raised in deprived neighborhoods and some time in their lives dropped out of school. In my opinion I strongly disagree with the authors Peter and Clarissa for trying to make amnesty seem a threatening thing to Americans because it is not. Also in 1986 under Ronald Reagan presidency the percentage of black unemployment was at 14.8, same year as the amnesty; we can see in the statistics that by legalizing millions of immigrants the percentage was not affected at all, it kept decreasing.
American citizens in need get welfare, which is help by the government and this is a major reason why the unemployment is high because they get benefits for doing nothing. In contrast, illegal immigrants do not get money from the government at all; their only option is working to survive.
As of today many illegal immigrants are being accused of stealing identities and working with false social security number, because without them they would not even be able to get a low-skilled job. If amnesty gets approved then all this illegal immigrants would not have any reason to be using anybody else's identity.
Illegal immigrants are not taking jobs from anybody.
In fact, I would like to ask you the following. If you were the owner of a company and you had two perspectives one being an American citizen and the other an illegal alien, with the same experience and the skills you are looking for. Who will you hired? It seems to me that you are obviously hiring the American citizen, because as you know there are penalties for employers hiring illegal immigrants, but what if in a similar scenario instead of both perspectives having the same capacity, the illegal immigrant has a incredibly superior ability to perform the job you need, who will you hired then?
The point I am trying to make here, is that it does not matter if you are illegal or legal what matters is the desire to succeed and become a better person.

NOW’S THE TIME!
President
Obama brings back to the table important remarks on Immigration reform. Fox News website presents us a very
interesting Article titled “Obamasays immigration reform 'within our grasp,' key senator raises concern with plan” In which
summarizes Important Information shared by the president on this “exciting”
discourse at Las Vega, Nevada. "I'm
here today because the time has come for common-sense comprehensive immigration
reform,” said President Obama.
Although many senators
are concerned and alert about president Obama’s proposal, most of them seem to
support him of course with some highly “strict” exceptions. Senators are afraid
that a immigration reform might turn in to a complete disaster, that is why
some of the senators’ requirements to the president are to tightly secure the
USA borders and enforce employers to have legal documentation of employees.
President
Obama calls his proposal “Earned Citizenship” this means that there are
requirements for this plan. Illegal immigrants MUST complete all prerequisite
in order to apply for this reform.
Even If you are not interested in illegal immigration I
suggest you check out this article. It will give you a feeling on how
Immigration is currently being process by the United States Government.
