The need for art education nationwide

Alec Bantier has a great point here. Art has evolve in a way nobody expected. my clasmate stephen mentioned the midset we have regarding art and making a living is almost imposible, with the expansion and growth of technology this mindset has change. The millennials generation is changing the meaning of the word "job" by making it fun and flexible and this can only be achieve by making it creative.
In a future, almost everything will have to deal with technology which goes by the hand of art.
a great example are new companies like facebook who has 4,619 employees as of december of 2012, and other social networks which most of their job is nothing but to create new ideas.

I strongly agree with Bainter's point of view regarding adding and supporting arts studies in schools. When I was in high school i was part of the soccer team and the only way i could play was if i had good grades so that was my motivation to do well in all of my other classes plus it help me to stayed out of trouble by keeping a busy mind and not thinking about skipping class, getting in a gang or t do drugs like many other students.
